Although the Spring season is officially creeping upon us in just a few days, I still see no sign of the much-anticipated warmer climate coming our way. And to be honest, this fickle New York City weather is starting to get on my nerves - one day it's a pleasantly crisp and sunny 60 degree kind of feel, the next a friggin' 30 degree shivery, windy (sometimes even snowy) crap day. But no worries I guess...atleast I have my reliable chunky sweaters, scarves, and trenches to keep me nice and toasty.
One of my favorite pieces that I wear RELIGIOUSLY during this season is my Steven Alan chunky men's wool shawl-collared sweater. It feels like "butta" on my skin and doesn't have that annoyingly itchy sensation that most wool pieces have. Funny story though - I purchased this sweater with the intent to give it as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, but my greedy little self got a bit too attached, and I just had to keep it. Thankfully, he was nice enough to let me have it...haha. What a freaking "indian giver" I am! Shame on me. But I have been wearing it pretty much everyday, in and out of the house, so safe to say this handsome little thing has been put to very good use. ;)
wearing: Zara trench coat, Steven Alan shawl-collared sweater, Forever 21 black trapeze dress, H&M tights and lace-up booties, and my nana's cross pendant necklace.
